From the 21st January  to the 25th January 2019, students from Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Poland and Romania met Spanish students in Cartagena, Murcia in Spain to participate in the event „Entrepreneurship as the key to success

The students and the school IES San Isidoro were in charge of organization the event and hosting participants. After warm up games to break the ice and getting to know each other they did activities such as planting a tree, which is unique to the region, and having an indoor picnic where everyone brought along food from their own country. 

Afterwards, the students gave a presentation about a topic related to entrepreneurship, such as local companies or startups. The German women presented the international company MSC, while the men gave a presentation about female entrepreneurship. They played games such as creating and presenting their own companies, including elements such as distribution methods, funding and target audience. The culturally valuable activities were several guided tours, for example through the town hall and the landmarks on the „Calle Mayor“ in Cartagena. The students also visited Murcia, the capital of the identically named region, where they inspected the current exhibition of the Museo Santa Clara and visited the „Catedral de Murcia“.
